We will be diving into culture, fashion, food, careers, businesses and lifestyle!
While also sharing, celebrating, showcasing and supporting the most creative and enterprising brands/ businesses that you love!
The First issue of the Afwcalgary Magazine officially launched on the 3rd of September 2022. Gracing the cover of this issue is Jenneh Jallah a 19 year old student who was the winner of the "Face of Afwcalgary 2022 competition" A competition that aimed to create a platform for aspiring models, giving them a head start and propelling them into the world of modelling. This issue also highlighted top black entrepreneurs blazing the trail right here in Calgary, small local black owned businesses you need to know and much more! The first issue will be available FREE to all guest at the second annual African Fashion Week Calgary, happening September 10th 2022 at the Falconridge castle ridge community Centre.
